The Christian Care Network (CCN) is a national referral network of licensed, certified, and/or properly credentialed Christian counselors offering care that is distinctly Christian and clinically excellent. Find a Christian counselor using their counselor finder.

As the leading psychiatric organization in the world, the American Psychiatric Association (APA) has more than 37,000 members involved in psychiatric practice, research, and academia. Their website includes information for psychiatrists, medical students, residents patients and family as well as a psychiatrist finder.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Mental Health Website includes basic public health information on mental health and aims to foster collaboration and advancement in the field of mental health.

Each Mind Matters is California’s Mental Health Movement. They provide information on mental health and advocacy and some suicide prevention resources in diverse languages including Spanish, Hmong, Chinese, Khmer, Korean, Lao, Tagalong, Vietnamese, Punjabi, Russian and Filipino.

Mental Health American (MHA), with it’s 200 affiliates in 41 states and over 10,000 volunteers, is the nation's leading community-based nonprofit dedicated to the needs of those living with mental illness. Their current work is guided by the Before Stage 4 (B4Stage4) philosophy – that mental health conditions should be treated long before they reach the most critical points in the disease process. Their resources include back to school, college life, peer support and mental health screening tools.

The Mental Health Gateway is a resource for clergy designed to provide you with the information, tools, and resources needed to effectively assist individuals with mental health difficulties who may seek support and guidance.

MentalHealth.gov is part of the US Department of Health and Human Services. The website provides information and resources for a wide range of mental health issues and topics as well as a treatment locator.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) chapters and support groups can be found all around the country. Their website provides information and resources on many mental health topics and provide opportunities to get involved with mental health advocacy. Find a local NAMI chapter or program on their website.

The National Council for Behavioral Health’s mission is to advance their members’ ability to deliver integrated health care. The National Council helped introduce Mental Health First Aid USA, an 8-hour course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance abuse disorders.

The National Institution of Mental Health (NIMH) is the lead federal agency for research on mental disorders. The have an abundance of information and downloadable resources on a range of mental health topics and the latest mental health research.

Screening for Mental Health, Inc. (SMI) provides free online screenings for common behavioral and mental health disorders and suicide as well as programs for colleges, middle and high schools, community organizations, and workspaces.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is the agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that leads public health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation. They provide many resources on both mental health and substance use disorders as well as a treatment locator.
